In addition to the Blue Ridge Shop we also have a second location in the Town of McCaysville, GA / Copperhill, TN. Our shops carry a carefully selected range of flies designed specifically for our local waters, along with quality gear for anglers of all skill levels. Whether you are just getting started or have years of experience, we are here to help you get what you need and get out on the water with confidence.

Practically self-taught, he’s spent countless days on the water mastering the craft of fly fishing and studying the habits of trout. Whether it’s casting dries, nymphing, or throwing big streamers, Ben’s technical skills and straightforward approach ensure a day that’s productive, engaging, and educational. He’s always ready to answer questions and help anglers sharpen their skills.
When Ben isn’t guiding, flipping rocks, or scouting new waters, you’ll find him in the fly shop, gearing up for the next adventure.

Toccoa River Outfitters started in 2014 as a small outfitter shop focused on fishing, kayaking, and hiking. From humble beginnings, with just a small selection of gear and flies, we’ve grown steadily over the years by staying committed to what matters most: providing quality equipment, expert guidance, and exceptional service to the local community and visiting anglers.
Our journey has been shaped by countless days on the water learning the rivers, streams, and lakes of the Blue Ridge area. This hands-on experience has allowed us to offer reliable advice and local knowledge to everyone who walks through our doors. Supporting the local community is at the core of what we do—whether it’s working with local guides, providing resources for anglers, or helping people explore the outdoors with confidence.
What began as a single shop in Morganton has grown into two dedicated fly shops, located in Copperhill, Tennessee, and Blue Ridge, Georgia.
